WHITE LOTUS YOGA STUDIO
Terms & Conditions, Memberships, Retreats & Release of Liability
Last updated: October 2026
Welcome to White Lotus Yoga Studio by Vicky Tomsky. These Terms & Conditions apply to studio classes, memberships, class packages, workshops, retreats, teacher trainings, private sessions, hypnotherapy, Ayurvedic consultations, and other services offered by White Lotus Yoga Studio.
By booking a class, purchasing a membership or package, registering for an event, or participating in any of our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before making a purchase or participating in any activity.
- Memberships & Class Packages
1.1 Payment and Validity
All memberships and class packages must be paid for in full before use, unless a different arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.
Each membership or package has a specific validity period, which begins on the date communicated at the time of purchase. The applicable number of classes and validity period will be stated in the relevant offer or purchase confirmation.
Memberships and packages are intended for the person who purchases them and may not be shared, unless White Lotus Yoga Studio has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
1.2 Right of Withdrawal for Online Purchases
For purchases made online, consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, depending on the nature of the service and the circumstances of the purchase.
Where applicable, a withdrawal request must be submitted in writing within the statutory period.
If you expressly request that a service begin during the withdrawal period, you may be required to pay for the part of the service already provided, as permitted by applicable law. Where relevant and legally permitted, this amount may be calculated using the applicable per-class rate for your membership or package, or the standard drop-in rate where applicable.
If a service is fully performed during the withdrawal period, the statutory right to withdraw may be lost only where the legal requirements have been met, including any required express consent and acknowledgment.
To exercise an applicable right of withdrawal, please contact White Lotus Yoga Studio in writing at the email address provided at the end of these Terms.
1.3 Cancellations and Refunds
After any applicable statutory withdrawal period has expired, memberships and class packages are generally non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
This policy applies whether or not you use all the classes included in your package, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Any cancellation or refund request will be considered in accordance with these Terms and applicable consumer-protection legislation.
1.4 Membership Renewals
Memberships do not automatically renew unless this has been expressly stated and agreed upon at the time of purchase.
If you purchase a new membership or package, the new purchase will be subject to the terms, price, and validity period communicated at that time.
Cancelling or choosing not to purchase a future membership does not entitle you to a refund for a current paid membership period.
1.5 Membership Freezes
White Lotus Yoga Studio may allow a membership to be frozen for up to one calendar month during the relevant membership term in exceptional circumstances, including:
- Injury or health-related circumstances that prevent participation.
- Death in the immediate family.
- Relocation.
- Other serious personal circumstances considered by the studio.
All freeze requests must be submitted in writing and in advance, before the requested freeze period begins. Freeze requests cannot be applied retroactively to periods that have already passed.
The studio may ask for reasonable supporting documentation where appropriate. All freeze requests require written approval from White Lotus Yoga Studio; approval is not automatic.
If approved, the membership validity period will be extended by the agreed freeze period. The approved dates and revised expiry date will be confirmed in writing.
A freeze does not entitle the member to a refund, and unused classes remain subject to the original membership conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.6 Expiry and Unused Classes
Classes must be used within the validity period specified at the time of purchase.
Any classes remaining after the membership or package expiry date will expire and cannot be carried forward, exchanged for cash, or refunded, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law.
Members are responsible for monitoring their package validity and booking classes within the relevant period.
1.7 Price Changes
White Lotus Yoga Studio reserves the right to change prices for future memberships, packages, classes, workshops, and services.
Any price change will apply to future purchases and will not alter the price of a membership or package that has already been paid for and confirmed.
- Retreats, Trainings & Workshops
2.1 Booking and Payment
A booking is considered confirmed once the required deposit or payment has been received and confirmation has been provided by White Lotus Yoga Studio.
Payment schedules, instalment dates, included services, accommodation arrangements, and other event-specific conditions will be communicated in the relevant retreat, training, or workshop information.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that payments are made by the stated deadlines.
Failure to complete a payment may result in the cancellation of a booking, subject to the applicable event terms and any mandatory legal rights.
2.2 Participant Cancellations
If you need to cancel your participation in a retreat, training, or workshop, you must notify White Lotus Yoga Studio in writing as soon as possible.
The cancellation terms communicated for the specific event will apply. These may differ depending on the event, its dates, accommodation arrangements, third-party commitments, and non-recoverable costs.
Where an event-specific cancellation policy applies, it will be provided as part of the booking information.
2.3 Retreats and Events on Specific Dates — Non-Refundable Deposits and Transfers
All retreat deposits are non-refundable once paid.
Payment of a deposit confirms your booking and acceptance of the applicable retreat terms and cancellation policy.
If you cancel your booking, decide not to attend, or are unable to participate for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded.
Instead of a refund, White Lotus Yoga Studio may, at its discretion, consider one of the following options:
- Transfer to another participant
You may request to transfer your booking to another person. Any transfer requires prior written approval from White Lotus Yoga Studio. The replacement participant must meet any relevant participation requirements, and reasonable additional administrative or supplier costs may apply.
- Transfer of the amount paid toward another White Lotus retreat
You may request to transfer the amount paid toward a different retreat organised by White Lotus Yoga Studio. Such a transfer is not automatic and requires written approval.
Approval will depend on availability, the payment terms and price of the new retreat, any price difference, and any non-recoverable costs or commitments already incurred in relation to the original booking.
All requests must be submitted in writing as soon as possible.
White Lotus Yoga Studio may decline a transfer request where it is not reasonably possible, where third-party arrangements prevent it, or where the transfer would create unrecoverable costs or practical difficulties.
Any approved transfer will be confirmed in writing. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, no cash refund will be provided. Any remaining balance, additional payment, expiry conditions, or other terms will be communicated when the transfer is approved.
2.4 No Refunds After Arrival or Commencement
Once a participant has arrived at a retreat, checked in, or begun participating in a retreat, training, or programme, no refund will be provided for leaving early, missing sessions, deciding not to continue, or not using the remaining part of the programme.
Participants are responsible for attending the sessions and activities included in their booking.
This policy applies subject to any mandatory rights under applicable law.
2.5 Changes or Cancellation by White Lotus Yoga Studio
White Lotus Yoga Studio reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an event where necessary, including changes to the schedule, venue, teachers, activities, or programme, while making reasonable efforts to preserve the intended experience.
If an event must be cancelled by White Lotus Yoga Studio, participants will be informed as soon as reasonably possible. Any refund, rescheduling, or alternative arrangement will be handled in accordance with the event-specific terms and applicable law.
Where a change or cancellation is caused by circumstances outside the studio’s reasonable control, Section 11 of these Terms may also apply.
2.6 Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward teachers, staff, other participants, accommodation providers, and local communities.
White Lotus Yoga Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue participation where conduct is abusive, threatening, disruptive, discriminatory, or otherwise compromises the safety or wellbeing of others.
Where participation is discontinued because of a participant’s conduct, refunds will be handled in accordance with the applicable event terms and law.
- Classes, Bookings & Cancellations
3.1 Class Reservations
Advance booking is recommended for all classes. Attendance is subject to availability and the studio’s booking procedures.
A reservation is confirmed once it has been accepted through the applicable booking system or directly by White Lotus Yoga Studio.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have booked the correct class and date.
3.2 Class Cancellation Policy
Participants must cancel a class reservation at least 10 hours before the scheduled class.
Cancellations made within the 10-hour period before class, or failure to attend a reserved class without cancelling, may result in the class being deducted from the participant’s package or membership, where applicable.
This policy helps ensure fair access to limited class spaces for all students.
If White Lotus Yoga Studio cancels a class, the affected booking will not be charged, and any necessary replacement or credit arrangement will be communicated.
3.3 Drop-In Classes
Drop-in classes are subject to availability and the payment terms communicated at the time of booking.
A purchased drop-in class credit is valid for three months from the date of purchase, unless a different validity period is expressly communicated at the time of purchase.
Expired credits cannot be refunded or extended automatically.
3.4 Workshops and Courses
Cancellation and transfer terms for workshops, courses, and other special events will be communicated at the time of booking.
Where a workshop or course allows a credit instead of a refund, requests must be made within the period stated in the relevant booking information. Where applicable, requests for a credit must be submitted at least 72 hours before the event.
A credit is not guaranteed unless it is expressly included in the applicable event terms or approved in writing by White Lotus Yoga Studio.
3.5 Late Arrival
Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes before class begins.
Late entry may be restricted where it would disrupt the class or compromise the safety or experience of other participants. If entry is not possible, the booking may be treated as a missed class under the applicable cancellation policy.
- Health & Participation Disclaimer
Yoga, restorative yoga, meditation, breathwork, hypnotherapy, and other wellbeing practices are not substitutes for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Participants are responsible for assessing their own readiness to participate and for informing the teacher or practitioner of relevant injuries, limitations, or circumstances that may affect their participation.
Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning a new practice if you have a medical condition, are recovering from an injury or operation, are pregnant, or have other concerns about whether a particular activity is appropriate for you.
Participants should work within their own limits and stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness, unusual discomfort, or distress. Please notify the teacher or practitioner if you need assistance or an alternative.
White Lotus Yoga Studio may suggest modifications or alternative practices, but these suggestions are not a medical diagnosis or guarantee of suitability.
By participating, you acknowledge that you remain responsible for communicating your needs and making informed decisions about your own participation.
- Assumption of Risk & Liability
Participation in yoga, movement, breathwork, meditation, retreats, and other wellbeing activities involves inherent risks, including the possibility of physical discomfort, injury, or emotional distress.
By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree to take reasonable care of yourself, follow instructions, use equipment appropriately, and communicate any concerns to the teacher or practitioner.
White Lotus Yoga Studio and its teachers will take reasonable care in providing services and maintaining a suitable environment.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, White Lotus Yoga Studio is not responsible for loss or damage arising from a participant’s failure to follow instructions, failure to disclose relevant information, misuse of equipment, or participation beyond their own limitations.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including any applicable liability for negligence, personal injury, or other rights that cannot legally be waived.
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. White Lotus Yoga Studio cannot guarantee the security of items brought into the studio or to an event.
- Hypnotherapy, Ayurveda & Wellbeing Services
Hypnotherapy, Ayurvedic consultations, and other wellbeing services offered by White Lotus Yoga Studio are intended to support personal development, relaxation, self-awareness, and general wellbeing.
These services do not replace medical care, psychological treatment, diagnosis, or advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Results vary from person to person. No specific outcome or transformation is guaranteed.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate and relevant information before and during a session and for communicating any concerns that may affect their participation.
Any recordings, written materials, or personalised resources provided as part of a session or programme are for the personal use of the client only. They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or sold without prior written permission.
Appointment cancellation and rescheduling terms will be communicated at the time of booking. Where a specific cancellation policy applies, it forms part of the booking agreement.
- Personal Conduct & Right to Refuse Service
White Lotus Yoga Studio aims to provide a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Participants are expected to treat teachers, staff, fellow students, and other participants with consideration and respect.
Harassment, abusive behaviour, discrimination, threats, or conduct that creates an unsafe or disruptive environment will not be tolerated.
White Lotus Yoga Studio reserves the right to refuse a booking or discontinue participation where reasonably necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing, or rights of others.
Any decision to refuse or discontinue a service will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant booking terms.

Content is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless expressly stated otherwise.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, modify, or use studio materials for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

You may decline to appear in promotional photographs or recordings. Please communicate this to the studio in advance or to the person responsible at the event.
Any consent for promotional use must be freely given where required by law. Refusing consent to promotional photography or recording will not, by itself, affect your ability to participate in a service.
- Website Accounts & Communications
Where a website account or online booking profile is required, you are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your account details secure.
You must not use the website or booking systems for unlawful purposes, attempt to interfere with their operation, or access another person’s account without permission.
White Lotus Yoga Studio may send communications relating to bookings, payments, schedule changes, service updates, or other matters necessary to provide the services you have requested.
Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with applicable law and any consent requirements. You may opt out of marketing communications where applicable.
- Events Outside Reasonable Control
White Lotus Yoga Studio will not be responsible for a delay, interruption, or failure to perform an obligation where it is caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include extreme weather, natural disasters, fire, public health emergencies, government restrictions, strikes, transport disruptions, venue closures, or other unforeseen events that make the provision of a service impracticable or impossible.
Where such circumstances affect a class, workshop, retreat, or other service, White Lotus Yoga Studio will make reasonable efforts to communicate the situation and, where appropriate, offer a rescheduled date, alternative arrangement, or other solution.
Any financial arrangements will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking terms and mandatory consumer-protection law.

Personal information will be processed on an appropriate lawful basis and retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by law.
Where personal or health-related information is provided to help adapt a class or service, it will be handled with appropriate care and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Your personal information will not be sold. It may be shared with service providers where necessary to operate the business, process payments, manage bookings, or comply with legal obligations, subject to appropriate safeguards.
You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and other rights under applicable law.
Please refer to the studio’s separate Privacy Notice for more information about data processing and how to exercise your rights.
- Changes to These Terms
White Lotus Yoga Studio may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in services, business practices, or legal requirements.
The updated version will be published on the studio’s website with a revised date.
Changes will apply prospectively and will not remove rights that have already accrued or override mandatory legal protections.
For existing bookings, the terms agreed at the time of purchase will continue to apply unless a change is required by law or otherwise validly agreed.
- Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Greece, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions that apply under European Union law or other applicable legislation.
If you have a concern or dispute, please contact White Lotus Yoga Studio first so that we can try to resolve the matter constructively.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right you may have to bring a complaint, use an applicable alternative dispute-resolution procedure, or pursue a legal remedy available under applicable law.
Where mandatory consumer-protection rules provide you with rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights remain unaffected.
For questions about memberships, bookings, cancellations, retreats, or these Terms & Conditions, please contact the studio in writing.
By purchasing a membership or package, booking an event, or participating in a service, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms are intended to clarify the conditions of participation and the responsibilities of both the studio and its clients. They do not exclude or restrict any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.
